The Coin Valley is quintessential Cotswolds, with the sort of villages that, are featured in picture books. They include Ablington, Winson, Coln St Dennis, Coln St Aldwyn, Hatherop and Southrop.
The area around Burford, Oxfordshire, has picturesque villages such as Great Barrington, Little Barrington, Taynton and Shipton-underWychwood.
Finally, the area to the north-east of Cheltenham has exclusive places such as Temple Guiting, Turkdean, Cold Aston, Guiting Power and Naunton.
